Hope it doesn't turn into World of Tanks, but I've been a huge mechwarrior fan. It is going to be one of those completely F2P games...no purchase price at all. Runs on the Crytek 3 engine and seems really smooth. If you like fps games, but aren't a twitch player mech games are great.

hmm never played that on the snes....had some of the ones for the original xbox tho...they were ok. The thing about these mech games that is the best is the amount of customization that one can do to fit their playstyle.

I love making a fast little Jenner with machine guns or short range missles then go find a big slow mech and circle strafe him to death. Or load it out with flame throwers and just grief the other mechs by making them overheat and shut down.
A good buddy of mine likes to make a big goliath with 3-4 gauss cannons and snipe.
There are so many combinations of loadouts it is almost endless.
